First up on the list of projects for Radius was to modernize Great Grizzly’s direct mailings. Direct mail can still be an incredibly effective channel for companies in the consumer goods and services industries, but they need to include more interactive messages to connect with today’s consumers. Radius added a number of digital elements, such as QR codes and links to the brand’s outline store, to continue growing the customer relationship online.
Radius also coordinated with radio hosts for shows in key markets to develop relevant ads and stories around the Fourth of July holiday. We brought in products for the radio hosts to try for themselves and worked together to come up with fun, brand-appropriate messaging. The result were segments that felt organic and authentic, giving the audience a compelling endorsement from a host they trust.
Great Grizzly also tasked Radius with revamping their product packaging to better represent their brand and appeal to the target audience while sitting on shelves. The new designs are bold, eye-catching, and convey the big, bold and fun spirit of the fireworks. Since the beginning of the partnership, Great Grizzly’s sales have grown each year, leading to record-breaking jumps in revenue in 2020 and 2021.
