The Challenge

The American Red Cross, a nonprofit organization focused on emergency assistance and disaster relief, first reached out to Radius while looking for an agency to help them achieve a wide range of critical goals in the Indiana Region. The Red Cross was hoping to complete both internal improvements to their organization and external marketing objectives to make a larger impact in the state of Indiana and beyond.

Internally, the Red Cross was focused on developing a more robust strategy to address diversity and inclusion and empower employees to express themselves. Externally, they were working to better communicate their mission and attract more volunteers to their cause. While the Red Cross had key points and ideas in mind for each goal, they needed Radius to help broadly publicize their messages in more effective ways.

Radius Delivered

To address the internal diversity, inclusion, and empowerment objectives, Radius first condensed the Red Cross’s long, sweeping narrative about their goals into a simple and organized action plan. The revised plan was divided into individual mission goals and their corresponding support goals, making it easy for all employees to consume and understand. Additionally, Radius created eye-catching and on-brand signage to be used in offices across the state of Indiana to keep all team members aligned on the same goals.

In order to encourage more volunteer support from the public, Radius also developed a variety of graphics for the Red Cross to share with key audiences. The graphics clearly communicated the opportunities available, the benefits of working with the Red Cross, and the needs of neighbors throughout Indiana. With the help of these materials, the American Red Cross was able to add the volunteers they needed to continue supporting those in need of emergency help in the state.
